Our Approach

TRUE Infrastructure is a specialist Australian funds management company launched in 2020 whose key focus is the effective administration and management of the TRUE Infrastructure Fund.

TRUE Infrastructure’s management approach is built around two key philosophies:

(1) A partnership model under which TRUE Infrastructure seeks to source, maintain and develop close relationships with key strategic partners within the infrastructure sector. Such strategic partners include the fund managers of the underlying funds in which the Fund is invested. 
‍
(2) A portfolio management approach built around active portfolio construction and review, a clear sector focus and a rigorous and structured investment approval process.

The Team

Mike Fitzpatrick, Director of True Infrastructure

Mr Fitzpatrick is a pioneer in infrastructure funds management, having established Hastings Funds Management in 1994 (sold to Westpac in 2005). Mr Fitzpatrick holds a number of other nonexecutive directorships, including Foresight Group Australia, Carnegie Clean Energy Limited and Latam Autos Limited.

Mr Giordano joined TRUE Infrastructure in 2023 and carries out the role of Portfolio Analyst. He brings valuable experience from his time at Payton Capital and Startup Bootcamp. Qualifications include a dual degree in Banking & Finance and Business from Monash University.

Mr Griffin is an investment and funds management executive with over 25 years’ of global experience. He is currently the CEO of the Fitzpatrick Family Office where he is responsible for strategy, investments and operations. Previous experience includes Investment Manager at Hastings Funds Management where he sat on several investee boards.
